So the two people holding hands in the photo are myself and my intention. I'm actually partnering up with my intention to make the goal a reality. Works for me, today. However, I realize just how weird that sounds.
First order of business for my six-month goal, I have to make some behavior adjustments. Here's what I've done in the past three days:
--tracked my food
--cleaned up my refrigerator by clearing out the hanging-out stuff (old Cool Whips, leftovers from last week's dinner, water bottles with an inch of water in them).
--actually weighed my serving of dinner tonight, including the pork chop (exactly 4.5 oz), the mashed potatoes (one good cup). Yeah, I'm amazed.
--drank a liter of water.
In the past three days, I've been to hot yoga twice. But did I mention that I tracked my food? So far, that's been the thing. When nighttime rolls around, it's a pretty safe bet that I may have a couple of WW points left to the daily allowance. Instead of congratulating myself on having them, then saying Go on! Have yourself a treat~ I've been having one after-dinner snack with an actual point value in mind.
Man, this is a boring post. It's 1:10 in the morning, I may be going to yoga tomorrow morning, and I'm putting this down because I was happy to hear that a couple of people read the first post and were encouraging. (Thanks, Lizi, for leaving a comment, too. I need to tell you that you can go work in some IT department now because you're the only one whose been able to figure out how to do that!)
